Nicos Anastasiou
Nicos Anastasiou is a teacher and peace activist who has been working in the divided island of Cyprus. He has been involved in bringing together Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot youth aiming to overcome the negative stereotypes that each community has for the other.
He also worked in reuniting older people from the two communities who used to live in mixed villages but were separated because of the conflict for more than 30 years. He currently organises the Cyprus Friendship programme.
