I pray for the little children of Gaza. I know many of them have lost their homes and family members in the recent conflict. I pray that The Elders can help bring about peace to their troubled land.
Peace takes so much more courage than war. Understanding takes so much more work than intolerance. Getting started is harder than doing something. Be brave enough to be different.
I believe that people around the world need to know more about how family's, especially children, suffer due to the lack of Peace around the world. Ignorance truly denies others of bliss.
The entire country' ,from the sea to the river, should be open to both Israelis and Palestinians, enjoying equal rights and rejecting any discrimination. This political entity should be a Condominium,

I am writing from Jerusalem, en route to Gaza. Our project Gaza 24/24 speaks directly to your concerns. It is my hope to collaborate.
Albert Schweitzer reminded us that we have become the brothers and sisters of all who suffer. Imagine the power behind our collective voices and action!
A true and just peace can only benefit all. Each of us were made in the image of God, each one deserving to a life free from fear, humiliation, pain and suffering.
Let us hope that you can inspire the people of Palestine and the people of Israel to rise up and demand peace despite all the obstacles and rhetoric that the politicians rely on to get elected
love peace hope and compassion ..all hope for your mission and power to you .. thankyou for you efforts , please keep trying ..
As an American Jew I opposed the right of the Apartheid regime in South Africa to exist, just as I oppose the right of the Apartheid regime in Israel to exist. Racism has no right to exist.

Peace comes when the separate communities work together for the common good. In the case of Israel/palestine, the focus should be on water. http://bit.ly/95zTCa
All of our human needs are the same. Safety for ourselves and our families, ease and peace. When we see our own humanity in others we are better able to find solutions for peace.
I sincerely hope your mission is successful and those people stop fighting in the Holy Land. I oppose all violence, even non-physical violence.

You know there really is still a chance for peace and that chance will definitely increase if we each do our piece. So let’s make peace -- in our homes, in our own hearts, in our relationships, in our communities, in all of our dealings and in the world. Peace be with us all.

The Islamic movement must adopt peace as a slogan, for it is the symbol and motto of Islam, peace of the world, of the country, of the family, and peace of the whole society
Seyed Muhammad Shirazi
We are all on the same planet, same species all the divisions are man made. The invisible 'lines in the sand' are illusions there are no STATES, Mine it's a choice. Look forward make peace.
There is only one way ahead for our world and it is through peace among all nations, love between all human beings - and for all other beings - and a true commitment by everyone to live accordingly.
It is time we put aside our differences and reached out to our brothers and sisters in every Nation across the World and worked together for lasting peace.
I'm so grateful for The Elders. You bring together the wisdom of some of the greatest leaders and thinkers of our time to guide people towards peace and temperance.

Sadly, the meetings in Europe this week aren't leading to a breakthrough to halt Israeli settlements in Palestine and make way for the peace process to recommence. http://bit.ly/o9Cre

Peace can be achieved, but only through dialogue. When we talk to each other face-to-face we realise how much we have in common. Let us talk and we will find that elusive peace.

Violence and rhetoric is blindly directed to an opposing zone. Retaliation seems to reap more intense and cheaper cognitive rewards than investing effort in addressing the systemic sources of conflict.
For there to be peace there is a need to recognise past pain. To heal the pain we need understanding. To succeed we need to know that all of our needs as fellow human beings are much the same.
South Africa will not be free until Palestine is free. I think this is a Nelson Mandela quote.
Wonderful to see our wise Elders meet and act with communities in Palestine and Israel.
I cannot think of another current example of the human rights abuses occuring in Palestine.
An enemy is actually a friend waiting to be made. We found this to be so in South Africa. It will be no different in the Holy land.
At this time of the year, it is particularily poignant that there is such pain and division in the place where Jesus was born. I hold all of the Palestinian and Israeli people in my prayers.
May God continue to bless all of you who work on this planet in the name of peace. Our hearts and prayers are with you in your endeavors always!
