Women are the key to building peace. Women's participation and representation is an integral part of any peace process. Women will bring constructive, creative and sustainable solutions to the table.
I support all those working tirelessly for a peaceful coexistence. It is important to listen to the concerns and aspirations of a broad range of individuals on both sides.
Genuine peace should be the primary goal of all nations. Regarding Israel and the Palestinians, the goal should be the same as long as both have security and complete sovereignty.
Brothers who do not remember their common origin shall one day maybe tomorrow find the path to their common heritage and be reunited through a new brotherhood.
The greatest teachers in history who have created positive social change have all had one thing in common: the Golden Rule. Give peace a chance. Thank you for your work!

Please consider the world our grandchildren will share, and put aside today's political and economic pressures. Our grandchildren must live in the world we leave them. Our problems are irrelevant.

All my hopes are with the young people of Gaza. That they will find the courage and inspiration to keep believing in their future as the world doesn't make it easy for them.
'Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.'
'Do unto others as you would have them do to you'.
We learn this simple wisdom as children, yet somehow as we 'grow' we leave it behind. Peace!

Let's learn to listen to each other with our hearts. Free yourself from hatred. We are no different than you. Be respectful and coexist peacefully. Thank you, The Elders. God Bless.
each journey begins with one foot in front of the other and an hand offered in peace.
An enemy is actually a friend waiting to be made. We found this to be so in South Africa. It will be no different in the Holy land.
Peace constitutes an inescapable imperative the world over and the Middle East is no exception. We need a world where people compete not in killing each other but in loving each other and in sharing.

I cannot express it any better than Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh: "Peace is not simply the absence of violence; it is the cultivation of understanding, insight and compassion combined with action."
