Thanks for being open and sharing what you are doing. It means a lot to global citizens to see leaders taking a public stand and involving us in their work.
We owe it to the young people of the world to create an environment of peace. To show them that war is a destructive force for the whole of the human race. I support the elders and send them love.
Peace takes so much more courage than war. Understanding takes so much more work than intolerance. Getting started is harder than doing something. Be brave enough to be different.
Peace is build, over time and skillful hands of all of us. Palestinians and Israelis have the concrete it takes to piece together peace blocks in the middle the East the World need to support this.
We obtained peace in Northern Ireland through dialogue. I pray that one day a lasting and sustainable solution can be obtained in the Middle East through similar, peaceful dialogue.
Tolerance, Respect for Human Rights and Peace, can't no be achieve separately. Our world without those 3 elements is just unsustainable.
We owe it to our grandchildren, to our children, to our parents, to our friends, neighbours and ourselves to act for peace. And the first step for peace is to communicate, have contact with the other.
Pursuing peace with all men as admonished by the Holy Bible is a creed that all men should live by. People from all over the world are one regardless of race, education and economic independence.

We salute the ELDERS for now deciding to intervene collectively to resolve the Palestine-Israel conflict, which is the central geo-political crisis of our times.
The Elders’ visit casts a powerful moral clarity. Clearly, our destiny—Palestinians and Israelis—is to live together, as equals. Please call for boycotts, divestment, and sanctions now.
I'm so grateful for The Elders. You bring together the wisdom of some of the greatest leaders and thinkers of our time to guide people towards peace and temperance.

Life is precious everywhere. My prayers are with the elders and the good work they are doing.
Men and women are both incredibly important to bring peace to the middle east. It takes both of us to make the world go around and we are falling down on the job. We must work together!
I did not know Elders exist. Now I feel there is hope for so many people like Hanar Shaat who think one better world is possible.
Thks Elders. All together WE CAN.
Reaching across human-made borders to our brothers & sisters in Peace. We are One.
Both sides, Israelis and Palestinians deserve to live in peace and recognize each other existence. Israelis to give back the 1967 occupied lands and Palestinians to acknowledge the state of Israel.
Since the majority wants peace (95%?), there is opportunity to explore potential for cultural unity: http://abc4all.net/culturalunitypotential.htm

Please consider the world our grandchildren will share, and put aside today's political and economic pressures. Our grandchildren must live in the world we leave them. Our problems are irrelevant.
We will look back and say, "Remember when the middle east was fraught with violence and peace seemed impossible? Hard to imagine that now…"

Peace requires courage, strength and wisdom. It's a continuous struggle for human rights and freedoms. Peace is also an internal struggle of every person on Earth to overcome selfishness and fear.

The land has been bequeathed to all of Abraham's children - both from Isaac and Ishmael. It is my prayer that the family reunite as did the brothers when they buried their father.

I would like to commend Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu for stating his viewpoint which in fact is a viewpoint that has been long ignored by the international community.
Peace making is too important to be left to politicians alone. It needs the active, sustained involvement of all sectors of society - civil society, business, young people, women's groups - supported by all international friends of peace and justice.
I have was active and supported PEACE NOW since the begining in 1979 and Beleive that as things get worse - Solutions are more urgent

Thank you for being there and speaking out. You give us all hope.
The Elders is a small step for humanity to follow, and to understand that by peace only we can all live together happily ever after.

Hold peace in your mind, peace in your heart and peace in your actions,we are but a flashbulb in space and time, let your life be remembered for spreading peace and having a wide open heart
Freedom for everyone...this is the true sense of the life......
Like the wonderful movie "The Lemon Tree", we all want to live peacefully. Its just a matter of walking in your neighbor's shoes...and letting your neighbor walk in yours.

Only when a people feel safe, empowered, respected and sustainable will peace among those peoples become real.
