Let's learn to listen to each other with our hearts. Free yourself from hatred. We are no different than you. Be respectful and coexist peacefully. Thank you, The Elders. God Bless.
please, don't forget that aged people can revitalise the other. A MISSION.

I believe that people around the world need to know more about how family's, especially children, suffer due to the lack of Peace around the world. Ignorance truly denies others of bliss.
All my hopes are with the young people of Gaza. That they will find the courage and inspiration to keep believing in their future as the world doesn't make it easy for them.
may men forget their indifferences and come under one massive big umbrella of our supreme personality of god head SRI KRISHNA BHAGAWAN , men must learn to surrender at HIS lotus feet.
HE is the one
You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom. Every Palestinian has the right to help himself in the absence of help from anywhere else. Free palestine
Thank you Hanar Shaat for the wonderful article you published here on October 18, 2010. You have the vision.
The Elders is the most important group I believe has ever been formed. It is a reminder that the world must listen to wisdom if humanity is to heal its wounds and embrace a positive future.

Peace can be achieved, but only through dialogue. When we talk to each other face-to-face we realise how much we have in common. Let us talk and we will find that elusive peace.
Timothy I Mullen
Peace is the absence of conflicts, chaos, violence, and destruction. Peace is the presence of caring, love, kindness, mindfulness, goodwill, harmony, collaboration, unity, and compassion.
I hosted the Elders dialogue today at Government house in Jerusalem.
The path to peace is there to grasp through women and children of the coming generations.
The choice is yours!
Peace will only be experienced, when masses of people across the globe speak out, live it, breathe it, and by doing so, change the energetic field in the human consiousness

The conflict in the Middle East has been going on for far to long; and far too many lives ruined or lost; For God's sake it must stop now.

Peace is an activity, not a place or an end--it's an ongoing process of connection and conversation and exploration. And I can think of no better work to be engaged in. Thank you, each, so, so much.
I wish Israeli and Palestinian leaders opened up their hearts for love and peace in this land which -although it seems completely impossible- should and could be the actual source of peace.
Albert Schweitzer reminded us that we have become the brothers and sisters of all who suffer. Imagine the power behind our collective voices and action!
If a friend can become an enemy. Then an enemy can become a friend.

May the Great Spirit bless and protect you. Through the divine power of mercy, forgiveness, love and compassion may the Middle East resolve its conflicts.
Peace is truly a working effort, while war and hatred seem to come easily. Our job is to show our children that peace is worth our greatest effort.
Overwhelmingly, the people of the Middle East want lives of peace and justice. The framework for resolution of differences is increasingly clear, and it is to be hoped that political leaders will take full advantage of this opportunity.
Peace is personal, first of all. When we have peace in our hearts and within our families we can do more to create a peaceful world.
Peace comes when the separate communities work together for the common good. In the case of Israel/palestine, the focus should be on water. http://bit.ly/95zTCa
I did not know Elders exist. Now I feel there is hope for so many people like Hanar Shaat who think one better world is possible.
Thks Elders. All together WE CAN.
I am writing from Jerusalem, en route to Gaza. Our project Gaza 24/24 speaks directly to your concerns. It is my hope to collaborate.
Keep up the great work, all.
Love the creator in you and all around you. If that contradicts what you think then change the way you think.
Reaching across human-made borders to our brothers & sisters in Peace. We are One.
I cannot express it any better than Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh: "Peace is not simply the absence of violence; it is the cultivation of understanding, insight and compassion combined with action."
Peace making is too important to be left to politicians alone. It needs the active, sustained involvement of all sectors of society - civil society, business, young people, women's groups - supported by all international friends of peace and justice.
