Annual Review 2021: Finding Hope in our Common Humanity

Share this:

The Elders' 2021 Annual Review is now available to download. It highlights our activities and achievements from the past year including: our impact at COP26, State of Hope virtual gatherings and our engagement with the United Nations Security Council. It also marks the sad passing of our first Chair and dear friend Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

In her message for the 2021 Annual Review, Mary Robinson, Chair of The Elders, wrote:

“As this report shows, The Elders can have meaningful impact on many issues in a variety of ways: sometimes through public advocacy, sometimes through private diplomacy, sometimes immediately and sometimes over time. In the year ahead we will continue to strive with humility to realise Madiba’s vision and honour the legacy of all those noble fighters for justice in whose footsteps we tread.”
