21st century peacebuilding

<p>How can we put aside our prejudices and improve inter-cultural understanding? How should we speak truth to power in the Middle East? What would peacebuilding look like if women took their place at the negotiating table? How do equality, accountability and good governance create the conditions for peaceful and stable societies?</p>
<p>The Elders will be discussing these questions and more at a panel discussion this week, co-hosted by the <strong><a href="http://www.oxcis.ac.uk/">Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies</a></strong>.</p>
