With the Copenhagen climate summit fast approaching, The Elders and their grandchildren have joined forces to remind the world of the catastrophic risk of climate change to future generations.

Desmond Tutu, Jimmy Carter, Ela Bhatt, Lakhdar Brahimi and Gro Brundtland, along with Mary Robinson and Martti Ahtisaari, were joined by 13 grandchildren from Asia, Africa, Europe and America. The group ranged in age from 3 to 85, and the younger generation had a clear message for their senior relatives; It's Our Future!

If world leaders don't take meaningful action in Copenhagen they will not only fail those who are suffering today - they will jeopardize the wellbeing of our planet and all of our children.
