Kate joined The Elders in February 2026 as Head of Strategy and Planning.

Prior to this, she spent over a decade in strategy and partnership roles in the development and humanitarian sectors, working first with Save the Children and more recently with International Rescue Committee.

She has a BA in French and German from Cambridge University as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling from Oxford University.

Outside work, Kate can be found practising Vedic meditation, volunteering with the charity The Listening Place and doing very undemanding classes at the gym.
