About
Marla Blow is the Chief Executive Officer of the Skoll Foundation, where she oversees day-to-day operations, strategic grantmaking, and the management of the endowment to advance the Foundation’s mission of building a world of peace and prosperity while championing social entrepreneurs. With more than 25 years of experience spanning philanthropy, business, and government, she is recognized for driving systemic change for marginalized communities and activating the Foundation’s full balance sheet for impact.
Prior to Skoll, Marla led the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth’s North America portfolio, designing programs on financial inclusion and economic development. She also founded FS Card Inc., a subprime credit card venture that helped 120,000 customers access $50 million in credit before its 2019 sale. Earlier, she helped launch the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and held leadership roles at Capital One, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan Chase.
Marla serves on multiple corporate and nonprofit boards and speaks widely on entrepreneurship, social innovation, and inclusive finance.
