The Issue

The Middle East is afflicted by multiple, interconnected conflicts, preventing its young population from reaching its great potential. It has shown particularly tragic examples of what can happen when geopolitical rivalries and power struggles prevent regional and international bodies from upholding their responsibilities for peace and security.

Our approach

We believe in the power of diplomacy to bring fair and lasting solutions to the Middle East’s conflicts. We advocate for current and rising powers to establish a more co-operative, less zero-sum approach to regional geopolitics. Sustainable peace will also need to be rooted in better governance, social justice and human rights.
