About
Aisling joined the Elders' team in April 2025 as Digital Media Officer. Her role focuses on expanding digital communications of the Elders' work across social media and the website.
Aisling previously worked for UNICEF, the International Crisis Group and most recently, a migrant rights charity in Ireland. She has also worked as a journalist for Euronews and Africanews, and has written for The Irish Times and The New European. She holds a BA in French and Italian from Trinity College Dublin, an MA in International Relations from University College Dublin and a master's degree in journalism from the Centre de Formation des Journalistes (CFJ).
Outside of work, Aisling loves spending time in nature, running, and going to live music and theatre performances, especially Irish trad sessions.

Tara joined The Elders in April 2026 as a Finance Officer. She has nearly 10 years’ experience working in the charity sector and a keen eye for improving systems and processes through IT.
Tara holds a diploma in Physics from Queen Mary University of London and is currently working towards her full ACCA qualification. Outside work, she enjoys baking, cycling and travelling.
