The Elders will visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 25-28 February 2018 for meetings with senior leadership to discuss current social and economic reforms and security issues across the Middle East.

The delegation will be headed by Kofi Annan, former United Nations Secretary-General and Chair of The Elders. He will be accompanied by Martti Ahtisaari, former Finnish President; Lakhdar Brahimi, former Algerian Foreign Minister and UN diplomat; Hina Jilani, Pakistani human rights advocate; and Ernesto Zedillo, former President of Mexico.

The Elders remain convinced that dialogue and diplomacy offer the best way to defuse all tensions, resolve conflicts and re-establish peace in the Middle East region.
